Hi there! My name is Katie Spence, and I’m a creative living and working in Seattle, Washington. Go For Kady was a blog project started deep in the pandemic quarantine that I used to talk about travel, fashion, and everything in between.
Remember that scene in The OC where Marissa goes “Who are you?” and Ryan goes “Whoever you want me to be” — that’s me in blog form.
I’ve always considered myself a jack of all trades, master of none, so when it comes to blogging, I wouldn’t say I have a particular “niche.” There are a few things I’m good at though.

I strive to be accessible, inclusive, relatable, & authentic. I’m literally just a regular human person, an idiot with a job and if I can make it this far (how far even?) you can too.

Well, it’s both. My actual name is Katie, but Kady is a nickname. Given to me shortly after Mean Girls came out by one of my best friends, the nickname has stuck around for the last 15 years and has become part of my identity. You can call me either!
