Hi friends! A couple years after my original post of 26 Outfits to Wear to Work, it’s still one of the most-trafficked pages on this blog. Given that we’re now well into spring 2024, I figured it was time for an update! As always, here’s a quick tiktok with some of the outfits I’ll get into in this post, but read all the way to the bottom for some bonus outfits that didn’t make the video!
I try my hardest to shop on a budget or with coupons, so most of these pieces are fairly affordable, though there is a piece or two I’d say is more of an “investment” piece. By and large though, most if not all pieces are under $100, many under $50, and I’d never steer you towards a pricier option I didn’t think was worth it!
When it comes to building outfits I wear to work, I try to pick pieces that work both in the office and in my day to day life. I have a pretty casual workplace, but I think most of these outfits would be suitable for general business casual work environments. That said, you know your workplace better than I do! If something is a risk you’re not willing to take, don’t take it 🙂
Most of the pieces I buy are staples and make their way into my wardrobe for a long time. For that reason, some things are a little older and therefore harder to find exact links to. If I can, I’ll still try to link an exact piece if you want to search secondhand sites for it. Otherwise, I’ll do my best to find a dupe or similar version. That said — I’ll always let you know when I’m linking the exact piece vs. a similar alternative.
Finally, for sizing reference I’m 5’3″ and typically a size 6/28/M.

Now onto the work outfits!
Outfit 1
Had to start off with a bonus look! I love a little “business barbie” all-pink look for spring and summer and couldn’t resist this monochrome moment. While the blazer and pants are older colorways, the items themselves are staples the brands make every year. The top is one of my favorite basics for both work and real life, and the shoes are just a fun affordable dupe of the jelly mule trend from Target last summer — in a more conservative workplace I’d probably pair with white loafers instead!
Top: Princess Polly | Pants: Zara (Similar)(Similar) | Blazer: H&M (similar)(similar)(similar) | Shoes: Target (similar)(similar)
Outfit 2
This look is quickly going to become a default for me at work this summer. My favorite staple Abercrombie Sloane Pants (sized down to a 27 short here and got them in curve love) and easy tee, paired with an chunky sneaker from amazon.
Top: Abercrombie | Pants: Abercrombie (Curve Love Version) | Sneakers: Amazon
Outfit 3
Another full work outfit from abercrombie — my same Sloane Pants and sneakers from above paired with the Paloma top, one of my most-repurchased Abercrombie staples (I think I have 7 of them now!)
Top: Abercrombie | Pants: Abercrombie (Curve Love Version) | Sneakers: Amazon
Outfit 4
Stop me if you’ve heard this one — another spring work outfit from Abercrombie. The short sleeve button down is pretty old so I’ll link a dupe, but the skirt is another Abercrombie closet staple I love, the Scarlett skort. Same chunky sneakers as above — they make a lot of appearances!
Top: Abercrombie (similar)(similar) | Skirt: Abercrombie | Sneakers: Amazon
Outfit 5
Love this very simple spring office look with a bright blue aritzia tee, white zara pants and white loafers from Circus NY!
Top: Aritzia | Pants: Zara (similar) | Loafers: Circus NY
Outfit 6
The Zara high waisted pants have been ride or dies for me for ages, and this very basic all black outfit is no different. The tee is pretty old from h&m and has been a staple of mine for years, and the black heels are a super comfortable work heel option from Lulus.
Tee: H&M (similar)(similar)(similar) | Pants: Zara (similar) | Heels: Lulus | Belt: Amazon
Outfit 7
This fun pink outfit has some repeat pieces from above, some older white pants from Zara, and heels from Lulus.
Top: Princess Polly | Pants: Zara (Similar)(similar) | Blazer: H&M (similar)(similar)(similar) | Heels: Lulus
Outfit 8
I can never resist an all-black outfit, even in spring! This one features a ton of staples, like the vegan leather pants from abercrombie and an adorable cropped cardigan from Target. The boots are older from H&M but will link similar!
Bodysuit: Abercrombie | Pants: Abercrombie | Cardigan: Target | Boots: H&M (similar) | Belt: Lulus
Outfit 9
Another appearance from my favorite abercrombie paloma top! This time I paired it with a white skirt from Princess Polly and off-white Sam Edelman boots.
Top: Abercrombie | Skirt: Princess Polly | Boots: Circus NY
Outfit 10
If you can’t tell by now, my whole philosophy with workwear is just getting some good staple pieces and mixing and matching them over and over. This top is another great basic from abercrombie, the pants are part of a set from princess polly, and the sneakers and belt are both amazon finds.
Top: Abercrombie | Pants: Princess Polly | Sneakers: Amazon | Belt: Amazon
Outfit 11
This outfit was a bit of a wild card (I have a longer OOTD video about it on tiktok if you want to see my thought process). I didn’t have quite the right pieces that matched the image in my head, but worked with what I had, which was an old button down and sweater vest from abercrombie, a skort and loafers from zara, and a trench coat from princess polly. Most of these items are from quite a few seasons ago, but did my best to link similar items!
Shirt: Abercrombie (similar)(similar) | Sweater vest: Abercrombie (similar) | Skort: Zara (similar) | Loafers: Zara (similar)(similar) | Trench coat: Princess Polly
Outfit 12
Some more staples here mixed and matched for a bright spring outfit (when it’s a little cooler out). Shirt and sweater vest are both quite old from h&m, the pants are the same Zara high waisted ones, and the white loafers are an old fave from Circus NY.
Shirt: H&M (similar) | Sweatervest: H&M (similar) | Pants: Zara (Similar)(Similar) | Loafers: Circus NY
Outfit 13
The centerpiece of this look is these double waist zara pants that I’ve become completely obsessed with. Everything else is just a bonus!
Tee: H&M (similar)(similar)(similar) | Pants: Zara | Loafers: Princess Polly | Leather Jacket: Zara
Outfit 14
Here’s an oldie but goodie outfit combo I love going back to. The shirt and corset are both other, but the skirt is an abercrombie staple and the boots are so comfy! I love adding a bow in my hair too just for a little bit of fun.
Shirt: H&M (similar) | Corset: Abercrombie (similar) | Skirt: Abercrombie | Boots: Circus NY | Bow: Target
Outfit 15
Here’s a more casual friday kind of look with my favorite jeans from abercrombie — I think they’re the absolute perfect relaxed cut that’s comfortable but still a little polished. The shirt was gifted from Frame and is definitely an investment piece, but I love the color and the quality is amazing.
Top: FRAME (similar) | Jeans: Abercrombie | Sneakers: Amazon
Outfit 16
Another twist on an earlier outfit here, going with loafers and a blazer to keep this look office-friendly but comfortable with a pop of color!
Top: Abercrombie | Blazer: H&M | Pants: Zara (similar) | Loafers: Zara (similar)(similar) | Belt: Amazon
Outfit 17
Here’s another fun pink outfit I put together featuring one of my favorite staples from Target, these satin midi skirts. Bodysuit is the famed Aritzia contour (nothing comes close I fear!) and the same off white boots I wish were true white.
Bodysuit: Aritzia | Skirt: Target | Boots: Circus NY
Outfit 18
This look is definitely a little edgy, and your mileage may vary wearing a harness in the workplace! Mostly my coworkers just make fun of me, but I’m personally obsessed with my Ardeo harness and will throw it on every chance I get. The skirt and bodysuit are both staples from Target and Aritzia, and the boots are very old H&M.
Bodysuit: Aritzia | Skirt: Target | Harness: Ardeo | Boots: H&M (similar)
Outfit 19
This one is a monochrome twist on outfit 12 with the pants and heels from outfit 7 — I’m all about getting pieces I can re-wear over and over!
Shirt: H&M (similar) | Sweatervest: H&M (similar) | Pants: Zara (Similar)(similar) | Heels: Lulus
Outfit 20
This one is perfect for those spring days that are a little chillier but you don’t want to bust out your winter coat again. I layered my favorite abercrombie tee under a (very old) aerie sweater, tossed on my brown vegan leather abercrombie pants for some texture and kept it cozy with my (fake) platform mini uggs!
Tee: Abercrombie | Sweater: Aerie (similar) | Pants: Abercrombie | Boots: Amazon
Outfit 21
I actually can’t get enough of layering corsets over button downs, sorry! Here’s another all white with a pop of pink look — the corset’s so comfy and stretchy from Target!
Shirt: H&M (similar) | Corset: Target | Pants: Princess Polly | Loafers: Circus NY
Outfit 22
Here’s another good casual outfit that you can def put together with items you already have in your closet! Here I’m wearing that old reliable muscle tee from H&M, pants from princess polly (that I wish I got in regular instead of petite!), air force ones, an old target denim jacket, and a baseball cap to cover my bad hair day.
Top: H&M (similar) | Pants: Princess Polly | Sneakers: Nike | Jacket: Target | Belt: Lulus | Hat: NHL Shop (similar)
Outfit 23
One of my favorite options when I can’t think of an outfit for work is just a cozy maxi sweater dress. This one is old from Abercrombie but I linked some similar options!
Dress: Abercrombie (similar)(similar) | Boots: H&M (similar)
Outfit 24
This outfit has the same base as outfit 18 but I switched up the accessories, going with knee high black boots from Princess Polly, my Amazon belt, and another hair bow, this one from tiktok shop!
Bodysuit: Aritzia | Skirt: Target | Boots: Princess Polly | Belt: Amazon | Bow: Tiktok Shop (linked on this video)
Outfit 25
Another entrant in the big top big pants category, these cargos are from Princess Polly and I paired them with an H&M sweater layered over a tee for a cozy neutral look!
Tee: Abercrombie | Sweater: H&M | Pants: Princess Polly | Sneakers: Amazon
Outfit 26
Another easy casual friday look with my favorite jeans and chunky sneakers! This time I paired it with the paloma top and a cute pink blazer from H&M.
Top: Abercrombie | Blazer: H&M (similar) | Jeans: Abercrombie | Sneakers: Amazon
Outfit 27
A very similar base to an outfit just a bit above, but paired with a super old knit midi skirt from abercrombie.
Bodysuit: Aritzia | Skirt: Abercrombie (similar) | Boots: Princess Polly
Outfit 28
One last pop of pink for this post! Here I’m wearing the premium crepe version of abercrombie’s sloane pants — not sure I like them enough to justify the increased price point, but needed the color obviously so we had to get em. I went with a 27 short curve love in these (as that’s what I had in my sage pair that fits the best) and somehow they’re a little too short and a little too tight unfortunately! Paired this with an abercrombie bodysuit and an old blazer from H&M.
Bodysuit: Abercrombie | Blazer: H&M (similar) | Pants: Abercrombie | Loafers: Circus NY
Outfit 29
This one’s the cool-toned version of outfit 20, and the full fit this time is all Abercrombie!
Tee: Abercrombie | Sweater: Abercrombie (similar) | Pants: Abercrombie
Outfit 30
Last but not least we have a classic all-black look, outfit 8 with a twist — just switched out the top for a long sleeve from princess polly!
Top: Princess Polly | Pants: Abercrombie | Boots: H&M (similar) | Belt: Lulus | Leather Jacket: Zara
Ok, that’s it for this roundup of spring work outfits! Hopefully this will serve as some inspo on how to style pieces in your closet and some office outfits you can put together with items you already have!
