I’m a pretty seasoned road tripper, but from time to time I’ll still forget some things. I can pack everything I need for a road trip, but I’ll always somehow forget that not everywhere has good cell coverage. It can be super annoying to scroll through Twitter (as a passenger) on the road to pass the time only to have tweets suddenly stop loading. It can be even worse when your service drops and you don’t know where you are! When I know I’m about to head into an area with limited cell service, I love to use this road

Hi friends! As you may or may not know, I’d like to consider myself an expert on the modern day millennial’s road trip. I’ve taken four cross-country road trips in the last three years, and I feel like I’ve learned from experience pretty much everything you need to know to plan and carry out a successful road trip as a 20-something without children. Over the years I’ve developed a few road trip essentials that I know I absolutely must have to make sure my road trips are comfortable and go off without a hitch. As I sit in isolation and

Hi friends! I, like all other white girls of western European descent, love a good self tanner. In real life, I am white as the driven snow. I burn within minutes in the sun, and have no interest in developing skin cancer. For the longest time I thought I was simply destined to live a life of translucency, but around 5 years ago I discovered self tanners, and I haven’t looked back since. Over the years I’ve tried about everything on the market, and I’m confident these are the 5 best self tanners out there. While I definitely have my

Hi friends! Sometimes it’s wild how cyclical trends can be. One day you’re wearing all neutrals pretending to be an adult and then next thing you know, it’s 2020 and the biggest craze is tie dye. I’ll be the first to admit, I resisted *hard*. But after a couple months in isolation, begging to give my life any excitement, I’ve jumped on board the tie dye train and I’m ready to tie die everything — old tshirts, bikinis, and even tie dye nails. So a while ago, I was recovering from a life-threatening illness (long story, I’m sure I’ll tell

In this house, we love all black outfits. Black can hide a multitude of sins (coffee spills, for one) and personally makes me feel bad as hell. I love to rock an all black look whenever I can. My boyfriend’s t-shirt drawer looks like a cartoon character’s closet: rows of black shirts all carefully Marie Kondo’d into place. Suffice it to say we know our way around wearing black from head to toe. Aside from making you feel amazing, all black outfits can work for literally any occasion. They can be dressed up for work, dressed down for travel, they

I know it’s July, but I feel like 2020 hasn’t totally counted yet. So I wanted to put together a list of all the best shoes you need for 2020. Why do I know this? Because I bought them all in the first three months of quarantine. But after looking through everything I bought, I’m convinced I have the best, must have, wardrobe staple shoes for the rest of the year. With any luck, they’ll carry me through 2021, too! You definitely do not need every shoe on this list. I am a minimalist in theory but not in practice;
